MY PUMPKIN BLOUSE

Image
Today I woke up in a no-mood-to-work state.  But I have no choice  but to drag my self to the bathroom and position my sleepy head under the cold shower. As usual I got to work 10 minutes past 0800hours.  Had my tsai and adobo roll (courtesy of Arjay P.), then work work work..... Today I wore to work, not my regular office get up, a black skinny jeans, black flat shoes and one of my favorite blouse, pumpkin shape blouse which, I am aware of, gives me a preggy look.  Everytime I wear this, 2 of my female colleagues won't let the chance pass by without commenting that I look fat on my blouse, and the first time I wore it, one of my male arab colleagues even asked me "are you pregnant?" hahaha.  I don't care what they say with how I look on it, I just love it and I am comfortable wearing it, and that what is important. As lunch time approaches, the stronger I feel sleepy.  I need to have a nap or else I m...

MY LIFE IN DUBAI - HOW IT ALL STARTED

Way back before 2007, I had a strong feeling I would be leaving Philippines to work abroad.  Where?  I didn’t have a clue.  Who would know?  Didn’t even have an idea how it’s going to be possible.  But then fate took its course.  May 14 2007 I arrived in Dubai. The day I came in Dubai, weather was soaring up to 42degrees hot.  I grew up in a tropical country where humidity and hot weather is not unusual, but then even if that’s the case, it was 42degrees and keeps on increasing day by day, who could bear that?  It was a major adjustment for me weather-wise.  As time passes by, I have come to accept and embrace the fact that summer time in Middle East is as hot as it can get. I was on a visit visa for 2 months, meaning I had to get a job before my visa expires or else I would have to either go back to Philippines or Exit to nearby GCC country, either case I will need to spend money-this was not a priority really at that moment as ...

EXPLORE EUROPE~ 5 COUNTRIES IN 11 DAYS ~ PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC (P-4)

I know there will come a time I will forget bits of pieces of my experiences, but my travel to Prague is one to remember for life, that is I am sure. When I plan my travel, it is part of my preparation to read blogs, forums and sites about the place I will be visiting.  Not for anything but to know the place I will be going.  Below is just a couple from the list of sites I visited to gain knowledge and information about Prague: www.prague.fm/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prague The plane ride from Rome to Prague was 2 hours.  I arrived in Prague as scheduled.  Contrary to what I read from different blogs and forums regarding domestic flights in Europe, I had a good and smooth check-in procedure and flight, no delays.  I took the taxi from the airport to  Hotel Lunik .  The hotel where I stayed was just a 3-star hotel, but I could definitely say my accommodation was more than what I paid for.  Cle...
