Moscow, Russia ~ Beneath the Poker Face

Moscow, where do I start to tell the story of my experience of you? You are not even part of my plans in 2017, but somehow a friend managed to convince me to join on this trip.  Honestly speaking, from planning stage up to getting the visa, my feeling was not really that super excited, I could not even be bothered to check the things to do in Moscow.  I did my preparations and notes of the "dos" & "don'ts" 2 days prior to my flight.  So basically, this was one of the trips I was unprepared but somehow managed to enjoy and survive, considering the language barrier, among other things like weather, etc. From my perspective and personal experience, this part of the world is very interesting. Why I say so? First, let’s talk about people.  Poker face, that’s how I described Russians. ~WHAT YOU DON'T SEE ON THE SURFACE~

I had wanted to do and try so many fun things, but risky, so I had to put it on hold because of the risk that comes with doing it.  If something happens to me, what would my family do?  As I  was helping with my mother's medication.   So yeah, being a responsible person that I am, I had to think and consider the possible consequence/s of doing things before plunging into it. But now that I have nothing to worry about, except my self, I think it is time to explore things on a more challenging level.  So, yehey!!! I went Scuba Diving.  Yes!  I have wanted to take the Open Water Course a long time ago but I did not have the liberty to do it.  Finally, I did it, 3 months back as of this post.  July-2016.  First and foremost, doing things as risky as Scuba Diving, you have to PLAN and RESEEEEEARCH for the PROS and CONS, SAFETY and VALUE, the BEST dive site locations, the BEST rated dive shop/training centers, etc etc.  Brace yo...

INTO THE "ALDUB" BANDWAGON

Yes me too is into this "ALDUB" phenomenon.   I remember sharing in my facebook timeline on 26th April 2015, with a caption "Hilarious",  Maine's "Kris Aquino" DubSmash compilation, which was posted by "I Love Philipphines!!!! (Green Mango)" FB Page.  I can't recall the number of times I have re-watched the video.  Maine's video has 3.5M views as of this post.  It could have been more if it has been shared directly from her Facebook page instead of downloading and then re-share in different social networks.  I will not get into this further, I might end up ranting then feel bad after.  I would rather fill this post with happy thoughts and feelings I get from the AlDub and Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye. I had no plans of going anywhere this year, however I felt that I need to breath a different air, and it was timely when a colleague shared to me a good travel package, took the opportunity, hence this short trip to Istanbul, Turkey.  It's a much needed and well deserved break, the last time I went out of UAE was July 2013, and it was not really a vacation to take a break and relax, but had to deal with some family matter.
