INTO THE "ALDUB" BANDWAGON

Yes me too is into this "ALDUB" phenomenon.  

I remember sharing in my facebook timeline on 26th April 2015, with a caption "Hilarious",  Maine's "Kris Aquino" DubSmash compilation, which was posted by "I Love Philipphines!!!! (Green Mango)" FB Page.  I can't recall the number of times I have re-watched the video.  Maine's video has 3.5M views as of this post.  It could have been more if it has been shared directly from her Facebook page instead of downloading and then re-share in different social networks.  I will not get into this further, I might end up ranting then feel bad after.  I would rather fill this post with happy thoughts and feelings I get from the AlDub and Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye.

How it all started?  

First off, let me say this, being a Sarah Geronimo fan, I am used to watching only Kapamilya shows where Sarah G. would be seen.  I don't know much of the Kapuso stars, and yes I don't know Alden, only recently (Pre-AlDub), when a friend of mine posted in her Facebook a photo op with Alden, both of them all sweaty and that after their workout in a gym somewhere in Alabang.  Then after that, lost memory.

Came 16th July 2015, Eid Al Fitr,  I am one of the lucky expats to be working in a company that when it comes to giving Holiday, is super generous.  We had 5days off.  I was invited by a friend to spend it with them and so I did.  My friend is subscribed to TFC channel.  Luckily, during the holiday, Cable TV provider gives free several tv channels including GMA Kapuso, in celebration of Eid holiday.  Yes this is how and when it all started, 16-July-2015, in the living area of my friend's house, all eyes glued to Eat Bulaga, taking advantage of the opportunity to be able to watch Kapuso channel for free, not knowing that it would be the start of the AlDub fever that most of us got.  It seems like the universe has conspired to create something magical on that day.  Or maybe, just maybe, Aling Rosanna's "dwende" friend is returning the favor back to Eat Bulaga (and Maine who has shown a soft heart for Aling Rosanna).  Who knows really?  All we know is, from that day on, Eat Bulaga skyrocketed and came the birth of AlDub.

Since then I have started stalking Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.  For almost 2 months now, not a day goes by that I don't check any updates about these 2.  And whenever I get the chance, I make sure to contribute in trending the day's hashtag.  Yes I am proud to be part of the #ALDUBMaiDenHeaven 3.6M tweets mark.  Record breaker.

I am looking forward to the day when AlDub finally meets.  No pressure guys, reel or real, you have my support.  Enjoy the journey.  Bonus na lang pag naging kayo.  Yikee!

I will not end this blog without mentioning JoWaPao, the studio Panel (TVJ, Allan K, etc...) who make the serye more exciting with their reactions and comments, and all the staff and crew behind the first ever kalyeserye in the Philippine Television.  Not with these people, I don't think AlDub will be this big.  Most Especially Lola Nidora and that is Wally.  Kudos to all of you guys!

But please make the "tamang panahon" happen soon, parang awa nyo na.

Today I woke up in a no-mood-to-work state.  But I have no choice  but to drag my self to the bathroom and position my sleepy head under the cold shower. Moscow, Russia ~ Beneath the Poker Face

Moscow, where do I start to tell the story of my experience of you? EXPLORE EURASIA ~ ISTANBUL, TURKEY FOR 4 DAYS
